Katie Price declared bankrupt

On Tuesday 26th November, the Insolvency and Companies Court in London announced that Katie Price, who was born and raised in Brighton and Hove, and who once had a £45m fortune and a thriving business empire, was declared bankrupt.  Price still lives in a nine-bedroom home in Sussex, an elegant Arts and Crafts house bought from former Tory Minister Francis Maude and once valued by estate agents at around £2 millon.  Last year TV cameras revealed that the swimming pool is full of algae, its 12 acres of grounds are overgrown and covered in rubbish left by builders.
